Day 2 (Friday)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, leave for bus sightseeing tour to meet Ancient Kyiv!

Such prominent artists as Vasnetsov, Vrubel, and Nesterov made its paintings and their beauty will inspire even the most tempted tourists.
The journey unfolds, and you will meet Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the leading contemporary academic and educational hub of Ukraine. The main and the oldest building of the University built under the rule of Nickolas I is of national importance.
Life is a theatre … and the history of Kyiv continues with Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine. In 1897, National Opera captivated every soul as the temple of arts and beauty. Nowadays National Opera attracts attention of visitors and theatre admirers with its luring posters and brings inspiration to everyone with its impressive architecture and captivating performances.
Saint Sophia Square continues our exciting tour. Historic landmark of the nation, outstanding Saint Sophia's Cathedral, is located there, in the heart of Kyiv. The legend says that Cathedral was built by Yaroslav I the Wise in the first half of XI century. Architecture of this amazing complex is recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Program as one of the wonders of Ukraine.
Feel the pureness of spiritual and architectural beauty of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery! One of the oldest representatives of Ukrainian baroque, the Monastery was the first golden-domed church to introduce this tradition.
Throughout sightseeing bus tour, you will be assisted by our guide to satisfy your curiosity. Meanwhile the guide will lead you in the history of the holy shrine of Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the main Orthodox Christian monastery and a separate national historic-cultural preserve. Kiev Pechersk Lavra is one of the first monasteries of Kyiv Rus, founded in 1051 by monk Antonii. You may be surprised that the caves became final abode for incorruptible relics of
God-pleasers. Visit Kiev Pechersk Lavra to immerse into the holy spirit of Orthodox Christianity.
Later on you will be delighted to observe flashing lights of Kyiv quay, Poshtova and Kontraktova Ploshcha squares, celebrated Maidan Nezaleshnosti and so much more of the city treasures!
Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Lviv. Transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel you selected. Have a lunch and leisure enjoying the magnificent evening in the City of Lviv (optional)!

Day 3 (Saturday)
Enjoy healthy and wholesome breakfast at the hotel and be prepared for another day packed with impressions, so get ready for Medieval Lviv bus sightseeing tour!
Let us begin the journey with St. George's Cathedral, the most prominent sacred place of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. There, in the cradle of faith, which used to be the seat of the Major Archbishop of the UGCC, is placed the most precious relic called the Wonder-working Icon of the Virgin Mary.
We are moving on to admire wonderful Castle Hill, the highest point in the city, 413 meters above sea level. The Castle Hill shows a breathtaking view on the city.
Today the Castle Hill remains merely a fragment of the great fortress used to locate there. On the place where the beautiful castle once stood, there is an observation platform atop of the kurgan. Nowadays youngsters and oldsters, tourists and citizens inspired by amazing atmosphere of history and medieval romance enjoy this sightseeing spot on a daily basis.
Next must see place is the Church of St. Paraskevi, the Orthodox temple of a defensive character, the northern outpost of the medieval city.
The Basilian monastery and Greek Catholic church of St. Onuphrius continues our tour along with the holy shrine of Saint Nickolas Church, built in 1292 according to the chronicle.
If you are a sacred architecture enthusiast, you will be delighted to observe other spiritual beauty spots of the city, right in the historical heart of Lviv.
The city is celebrated for its universities of national significance. King John II Casimir of Poland founded current building of Ivan Franko National
University of Lviv in 1661. The Potocki Palace in Lviv used to be grandest nobleman's residence in the city! No wonder because the palace was designed by the French architect Louis Dauvergne who managed to produce a luxurious imitation of French Classicism.
Svobody avenue is the next stop of the tour. As Khreshchatyk Street is a heart of the capital, the Svobody avenue is the most animated cultural center of Lviv. In the heart of the avenue stands The Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet, acknowledged symbol of the city.
Are you tired yet? We have many curiosities ahead of us. One of them is Lychakiv Cemetery, the main necropolis of the city's intelligentsia, middle and upper classes and the oldest in Eastern Europe cemetery. Pompous glided graves still indicate tombs of such prominent personalities of Ukrainian history as Ivan Franko, Markian Shashkevych, Ivan Vahylevych and many others along with numerous famous Poles that are buried there.
