Odessa – it is called "a pearl of the Black Sea" & a third largest city in Ukraine.
It is a city of romance, art, humor, poems, theaters and museums. Odessa has many sandy beaches to relax and a large range of sights.
Odessa was formerly colonized by ancient Greeks some 25 centuries ago. It is now a cosmopolitan city with a population of just over 1 million. Today it’s the Black Sea’s largest port to the Ukraine.
Some of the sights include the Odessa Opera & Ballet Theater, the Vorontsov Colonnade, Deribasovskaya Street, the Port itself and even the a labyrinth of Catacombs underneath the city.
